Through a combination of grace and mercy, we will strive to create a nurturing environment grounded in faith and abiding in love. We will make it possible for our children to discover hope, thereby igniting in them a desire to reach their God-given potential.
As the statistics indicate, there are children in our communities that need a loving place to call home and need to have the liberty simply to be children. Our mission and heart is to welcome these children into the family at Liberty Youth Ranch. We know the Ranch is a BIG dream and will take determination, persistence, vision and faith. Liberty Youth Ranch is supported by the financial contributions of individuals, businesses, foundations, churches and organizations that desire to help children. We need you to join us in building Liberty Youth Ranch so that we might make a difference in our children and the world. In the United States we posses only 4% of the world's population, but enjoy 65% of the world's wealth. As William J.H. Boetcker said, "Your greatness is measured by your benevolence."
LIBERTY YOUTH RANCH
The Liberty Youth Ranch is a long-term residential home for Floridas orphaned, abused, abandoned, neglected and homeless children. Candidates for residence at the Ranch are children between the ages of 4 and 17 who face truly insurmountable challenges. The Liberty Youth Ranch will be a comfortable, stable, supportive environment where more than 50 children can prosper.
The Ranch will be built on 156 acres of land east of I-75 in the city of Bonita Springs, FL. There will be six home-like cottages in a community setting, with a set of surrogate parents for each house. Athletic fields and a fully equipped gymnasium will support a variety of recreational activities. In addition, an equestrian program will provide a therapeutic element.
A highly-trained staff will care for the childrens unique mental and emotional needs. The children will receive counseling and tutoring, which will develop social skills and self-esteem. The Liberty Youth Ranch children will be cared for, loved, and encouraged.
